Plum & Pleat publishes PDF sewing patterns for clothes, bags, the home and little ones. Every pattern is drafted to scale, graded across a range of sizes where it applies, and comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions.
What is in every pattern
- Three print formats: A4 and US Letter files for home printers, and an A0 file for copy shops.
- A true-scale test square (10 cm and 4 in) on page one, so you can check before you cut.
- Pieces you can trust: grainlines, notches, fold lines and seam allowance included and stated.
- An illustrated booklet with fabric suggestions, fabric amounts, a size chart, a cutting layout and numbered steps.
Built on open-source drafting
Many of our garment patterns are drafted with FreeSewing, an open-source pattern project, under the MIT licence; their designs are credited on each product page and the licence is included in the download. Our bags, home and simple garment patterns are drafted by us.
